What is sexual wellness and why is it important?
Sexual wellness includes physical, mental and emotional connections as it relates to sexual function and intimacy. Healthy sex means that those involved desire it and enjoy it and it is therefore good for the mind and the body just like eating right, being physically active and getting restful sleep. Having a happy sex life can ease stress and anxiety. Love, affection and intimacy are all part of human nature. Sometimes there are bumps in the road that can complicate this and we need to pivot and even find a new approach to “make sex great again.”
